Introduction
Voicentric is a local marketing agency specialising in communication with scientists all over the world. We have a long-standing relationship with Durham University and have employed over 500 Durham students, undergraduates and postgraduates.
As an International Communications Representative, your role will involve contacting customers by phone on behalf of our clients, who work principally within the life sciences and biotech industries. You will communicate complex messages regarding new scientific products and services. The aim is to generate high quality leads by providing as much information as possible about specific new technologies to raise product interest. Some campaigns might also involve some research work prior to communication.
Voicentric works with clients internationally, which means that we call globally in order to align with different time zones. Consequently, some projects require not only high calibre candidates with excellent communication skills, but also the ability to speak additional languages fluently. As a result, Voicentric is a diverse and multi-lingual working environment.
What we’re looking for
Primary skill: outstanding verbal communication.
Other crucial skills: excellent written communication, ability to work accurately, quick learner, team player, takes initiative
Beneficial skills: fluency in a foreign language (French, German, Mandarin, Spanish, Italian, Portuguese), scientific background.
