My name is Constanze Zuern, but everybody calls me Connie. I have worked at Voicentric since summer 2011 and have started my position as Project Leader in November 2012.
I am originally from a little village near Stuttgart in Southern Germany, but came over to the UK to study. I completed my BSc (Hons.) in Marine Biology at Newcastle University and was fortunate to receive a scholarship that enabled me to continue on with my studies, graduating with a PhD in Marine Ecology and Microbiology, also from Newcastle University.
My love and passion for Science and the UK kept me in the country and since completing my education, Voicentric has become my full time employment.
The first thing that struck me when I started working here was that while everyone works hard, there is a very relaxed atmosphere to the office that is worlds apart from any other ‘contact-centre’. Since starting work at Voicentric, I have been part and managed many campaigns; and I can honestly say that the ever changing dynamic nature of the job, the close client relationships, the team motivation and management, being part of a multicultural, multilingual environment and especially learning about and marketing of cutting-edge science has provided a great place to work for me.
Life away from work is shared with my fiancé Colin. I love to read or watch TV series and movies, if I am not outdoors, because I love going to the beach and I am a very keen gardener with my own little allotment plot.
